Privacy Policy

This notice is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Decree 101/2018, and covers personal data collected through this website.

2. Data we process

  • Contact and quotation forms: name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, the content of your message and the cargo, route and date details of the shipment.
  • Job applications: the data contained in the CV you upload.
  • Server logs: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referring page, browser and operating system.
  • Cookies: see our cookie policy.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering enquiries and preparing quotations — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps).
  • Handling job applications — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Site security and prevention of misuse — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the correct and secure operation of the site.
  • Measuring visit statistics — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), together with Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code for storing information on your device.

4. Recipients

Data may be disclosed to group companies, to transport and customs partners involved in performing the contract, and to processors appointed under Art. 28 GDPR that provide hosting, e-mail and analytics services. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. Retention

Enquiry data is erased once the matter has been dealt with, subject to civil and tax retention obligations. Job applications are kept for a maximum of twelve months. Server logs are deleted within seven days.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing relies on consent you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
